So who actually pays?

It depends on how you got here, and there are only three answers.

You signed up yourself	You do.
You joined a class run by an institution	Your institution does. You are never asked for a card, and there is nothing for you to cancel.
You joined a class run by an individual teacher	You do. Your teacher pays for their own account only.

If you are teaching and would rather your students were covered, that is an institutional account. Write to us and we will set it up — it does not need to be a whole university.

Is there a free trial?

There is no clock running. You can make an account, look around, and see how the platform works before you decide anything.

What happens if I stop paying?

You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. After that the parts that need a subscription close, and your work stays where it is unless you ask us to delete it.

Will my students be charged?

Only if you are on an individual account rather than an institutional one. A student who joins a class run by an institution is covered by that institution and is never asked for a card. A student who joins a class run by an individual teacher pays for themselves.

We would rather say that plainly here than have somebody find out at a payment form.

Who am I actually buying from?

Paddle. They are the seller of record, which means the payment contract is with them, their name is on your receipt, and they handle sales tax wherever you are. No card number ever reaches MedicomSkills — there is no code here that could take one.

Can I change from monthly to yearly?

Yes, write to us and we will move you across. If you are part way through a month we will take that off the year.

What is it priced on?

Every consultation and every piece of feedback costs us real money to produce, so the price has to cover that. What we have avoided is putting a meter on practice, because the moment a learner starts rationing their own practice the tool has stopped working.
